Tell us what motivates you every day on your way to the agency
The first thing I think about is meeting the team every morning. Sharing and exchanging ideas, questions and discoveries together. It's a supportive team where good humour reigns every day.
Then, of course, what I enjoy so much in my role as Operations Manager is the daily relationship with our local service providers. Project after project, we have forged strong links with our partners. These privileged relationships enable us to manage our clients' requests as well as possible and to propose exclusive projects, on which we work in tandem with local players.

What is your area of expertise about Scotland?
In my daily responsibilities, my speciality is to bring our programmes to life once they have been thought out and designed. It is my job to concretise the programmes and, in a practical way, translate them into reality.
Having started my career in the hotel business, I have a wide knowledge of these establishments and their services in Scotland. My familiarity with the way the hotel business functions is a real plus for when we are designing our projects.
As soon as I have the opportunity, I visit new local partners, which allows me again and again to have new ideas to propose in order to enrich our products.
I also have extensive experience of organising conferences and conventions in typical Scottish venues. The knowledge of the specific technical requirements of these types of events allows us to be very flexible and responsive and to rely on trusted service providers to bring them to reality.

How do you live your passion for Scotland on a daily basis?
As far as the environment and the landscape are concerned, I'm an avid lover of coastal Scotland. When people think of Scotland, enjoying the seaside is not what generally comes first to mind. But the beautiful and quite unknown fine sandy beaches - in East Lothian, for example – are some of the little-known jewels of our country.
But what made me adopt Scotland very quickly was not so much the beautiful landscapes, but the Scots themselves! Simplicity, sharing and hospitality are values that are very much emphasised, which makes you feel at home in Scotland right away. As soon as I get the chance, I go away for the weekend and always enjoy arranging to meet with our providers on the way, or simply spending some time with them.
